Purpose:
To design and develop features on our existing device management platform, which is currently being used to manage iOS, Android and our flagship Paradox products in a number of organisations. The role will require working on existing and new backend web services with opportunities to work with Docker and micro services.
Principle duties:
• Get involved with the design process and produce designs for new features
• Take the lead on implementing new features
• Write, test and maintain software code as according to design specifications in a quality and timely manner
• Take on new technology, methodologies and frameworks
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs
• Perform code reviews and write documentation
• Mentor junior team members
• Provide breakdown, estimate and progress information
• Capture and fulfil requirements for Project Manager and Team Lead
• Support QA to ensure the product is of good quality
• Assist with customer escalation cases
• Any other reasonable duties as required by the business
Essential Skills:
• Degree in computer science or another closely related subject
• 5+ years Microsoft ASP.NET experience
• C# ASP.NET core MVC / WebAPI
• Entity Framework
• T-SQL
• RESTful web services and JSON
• JavaScript
• HTML/CSS
