As a Technical Writer, you will play a crucial role in translating complex technical information into clear, concise and user-friendly documentation.  Your primary responsibility is to create and maintain various types of documentation, including manuals, guides and online resources.

The user and administration guides need to be aimed at the end user and written in an accessible manner, utilising diagrams and indices to aid comprehension.  The Technical Writer will have a deep understanding of the products in order that they can explain all the specifications in appropriate detail.

The role includes authoring, proof reading, research, collating and editing documents and diagrams.  Liaison with the product owners, development and testing teams is a key part of the role.

The documents will need to be available either as HTML within the products or on the Becrypt portal or in some cases rendered to PDF.  The incoming Writer will have a free hand in tool selection provided:

1. The tool is commonly used in the industry
2. It will be possible to import the existing document set (currently supplied as .PDF files)into the new tool.
