Purpose:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Architect to join our dynamic team. As a Technical Architect, you will play a crucial role in assisting to design, implement and overseeing the technical aspects of our projects, ensuring that they align with the company’s strategic goals and technological vision.
Principle duties:
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
• Manage a small team of very senior multi skilled developers
• Develop comprehensive architecture plans that outline the design structure and functionality of complex systems
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle
• Ensure architecture and design principles are followed, maintaining consistency
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies, and apply them to enhance Becrypt’s technical capabilities
• Any other reasonable duties as required by the business
Essential Skills:
• Proven experience as a Technical Architect or in a similar role, demonstrating successful design and implementation of complex systems
• Deep technical understanding of virtualisation technologies
• Good understanding of PKI (Public Key Infrastructure)
• Good understanding of cryptography, its’ applications and limitations
• Low level Linux knowledge including kernel level capabilities
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills, and ability to think critically and analytically
• Good understanding of web API’s and mobile platforms
• Familiarity with Identity Management
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to both, technical and non-technical audiences
• Master’s Degree in computer science or another closely related subject
• Relevant certifications are a plus
