Centerprise sees 250% uplift in sales of Becrypt cyber security products
Major reseller and supplier to the MOD sees significantly increased demand for top level security solutions
Centerprise International, a major supplier to the Ministry of Defence through the Information Equipment Communications (ICS) catalogue has dramatically increased sales by 250% of Becrypt cybersecurity products within its portfolio. Centerprise has been awarded a contract to supply encrypted hardware, software and other security products and services through the ICS catalogue. These solutions are enabled through Becrypt’s full disk encryption, device control and media encryption solutions, all of which are certified by the UK Government through CESG (part of GCHQ) for use with sensitive data, and for which Centerprise is a Value Added Reseller.
Garry Stevens Group CEO at Centerprise, commented, “The Becrypt range of cybersecurity products enable us to extend our solutions range for the Government and MOD, two of our most important markets. We have seen an increase in demand for end point protection solutions, particularly for top level security and Becrypt is the only company to offer software encryption approved for use with data up to Impact Level 5 (SECRET).”
Garry continued, “Powerful data security needs to be built into the IT infrastructure so that security does not get in the way of end-users doing their job. Becrypt’s full disk encryption is automatic, once the user has authenticated they do not need to think about which files to encrypt because everything is encrypted in the background. Becrypt has been key in helping Centerprise to meet this requirement which has resulted in such a dramatic increase in sales of their end point protection solutions.”
Becrypt’s products covered by the agreement include DISK Protect, DISK Protect Baseline and DISK Protect Enhanced, device control products Connect Protect and Advanced Port Control (for the control of external devices connected to a Baseline protected machine) and Media Client for the encryption of data held on USB and other removable devices in order to share information with authorised third parties.
Bernard Parsons, CEO of Becrypt commented, “As organisations in both public and private sectors move to take advantage of the latest technologies including the Cloud to streamline business efficiency, it is vital that the endpoint is protected. Becrypt is committed to supporting and developing our channel. Our experience of working with the Government and MOD to provide approved solutions that are easy to use and deploy, and yet meet the stringent demands for protecting highly sensitive data is second to none. This gives our resellers and distributors, like Centerprise, a powerful set of solutions to address this market, resulting in significantly increased sales.”
